Safe Church Policy
The recent Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse recommended ten Child Safe Standards with compliance expected to become mandatory for all organisations working with children and young people in NSW. In response to these standards the "Safe Church Health Check" is a comprehensive review tool which has been developed to assess our church's practices against Child Safe Standards.
Our church is committed to ensuring all children can develop spiritually in a safe and healthy environment and our policy applies to all Church Leadership, staff and volunteers. It also applies to all people who are involved in or attend our Church and its programs.
The aim of our Safe Church Policy is to:
1. provide a safe church for all members and visitors;
2. provide child safe and child friendly environments in which to nurture the spiritual growth and development of children and young people, and vulnerable people;
3. protect children, young and vulnerable people from harm or risk of harm taking place in our church;
4. ensure transparency in and accountability between leaders and apprentice leaders;

Code of Conduct
Our church has a code of conduct for all staff, leaders and volunteers. Our code of conduct outlines ministry appropriate boundaries, rather than assuming that people know the boundaries. It applies to all church leaders/ workers both volunteer and paid. As the leaders of New Vine Vineyards Church (NVV) we acknowledge that everyone who attends our church needs to be confident that they will be cared for, nurtured abd encouraged as they grow and at the same time, protected from spiritual, physical and emotional harm.
If you would like a copy of our code of conduct please contact Amanda (M: 0408 173 510) or Paula (M: 0400 993 590)
